Description
With the TRW-Lucas rear suspension, there is a cost-effective way to reduce the seat height.
This is achieved in most models by a modified linkage of the shock absorber.
Recommended is the installation in a specialist workshop, especially for models where the shock absorber must be pressed.
– Lowering with ABE
– by lowering the seat height is lowered by 20-50 mm’ (depending on the model) in a simple way
– safe and comfortable stand with little effort
– Lowering kits are machined from steel or aluminum, depending on the model
– Most motorcycles are lowered via modified push rods or triangular plates in exchange for the original
– with central strut the full working distance remains
– For all lowering the side stand must be shortened
– partly the main stand has to be removed
After the conversion, it is necessary that, depending on the load of the vehicle, the spring-shock absorber management is adjusted accordingly,
otherwise it could damage the vehicle bezw. can come to vehicle parts.
